The ABGS Marketplace Food Pantry remains committed to serving the Hempstead community by providing nutritious food and essential support for students and their families. Located at 70 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, NY 11550, the pantry is open every Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

The energy was electric as the Hempstead community came together on Saturday, November 1, 2025, for an unforgettable Homecoming celebration filled with pride, unity, and tradition! From the moment the parade stepped off, the streets of Hempstead were alive with cheers, music, and the unmistakable spirit of the Hempstead Tigers.

Hempstead Public Schools proudly hosted its first Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Night on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hempstead High School, where families, scholars, and staff gathered to explore mindfulness, resilience, and strategies that promote emotional well-being and self-awareness.
